The Right Way to Meet and Keep a Man
07-28-08 05:47
Because there are many working girls already in our society and women bent on succeeding in a career of their own choice, sometimes love is forgotten that when they realize that most of their friends are married and have children already, they are left asking and wondering to themselves if the love train has given up on them and left them already. They realize that they are getting left behind when it comes to having families and that their body clocks are ticking. So they go out in the hopes of meeting the man of their dreams, but how can they go about meeting and keeping the right man?

No Rules

One mistake women make is making a lot of rules. No blind dates, no dating websites, no friends setting up a date with another friend. Remove those rules as those rules will get you nowhere. If you want to meet your The One, expect to meet him in unlikely places or through unlikely people. Keep an open mind about it, and love will come.

Be Daring

Do away with the “damsel in distress” tactics. They seldom work, and if ever they do, the man you meet will probably forever think you’re helpless, and when he learns it was just a ploy to meet him, he will probably find you devious. So if you think that that guy is perfect for you, go out and meet him, for Pete’s sake! Show interest and he will probably show he is also interested in you. But if you keep your distance and play it cool, he will find you aloof and an ice queen to boot.

No Wolf Packs

What I mean by this is, if you are going bar hopping with your friends and yet hope to meet somebody perfect for you, then you should know that men do feel intimidated to approach you and your gang of girls. So go out with only one friend so as not to intimidate potential suitors. Plus, a huge group of girls surrounding you will make any man insecure to talk to you. He will always think that your friends are going to judge him by the way he walks and talks as soon as his back is turned on them.

Simplicity is Beauty

Old saying but definitely too true. If you glam yourself up too much, your total image screams high maintenance, and no guy wants a high maintenance gal. So keep your makeup simple and your jewelries to a minimum. Remember, simplicity is always beauty.
